Union Industries and BID settle out of court over Eiger Door™ Patent Infringement Case
As reported in October last year, Union Industries filed a case to sue competitor BID over a patent attack of their World leading high speed Eiger Freezer Door.
This action was started by Union Industries in order to protect their patented and unique Eiger Door™, which has become the market leading fast acting industrial cold store door since its launch back in 2002.
Today, Union Industries are pleased to report that agreement has been reached with BID for settlement out of court, with the agreed statement in place as follows;
“Union Industries and BID Group have reached a settlement regarding the patent infringement case commenced by Union Industries. Details of the settlement remain confidential, however both parties agree that the patent remains in force and that BID will not produce doors that infringe the patent. Union Industries confirms that it will continue to vigorously defend its patents in any future breaches by any party".
